19 May 2023. Antonino wins the 2023 Harry Smith prize!

Antonino was awarded the 2023 Harry Smith Prize for his work published in Molecular Ecology. This prize recognizes the best paper published in Molecular Ecology and Molecular Ecology Resources in the previous year by early career scholars . His work, published as an ‘Invited Reviews and Syntheses’ article, presents an example for leveraging the powerful open data and provides new insights into the field of microbiome research. Antonino has been asked to join the Molecular Ecology Editorial Board as part of the prize.
